Well, I guess word is out about the other thing that's been keeping me insanely busy this summer.

Yes, that's right, I am writing a del.icio.us book! Expect this weblog to degrade into pure self-promotion and self-aggrandizing rants shortly. No more fun links for you!

Honestly though, I'm actually really excited about many of the projects that are going to appear in Beginning del.icio.us Mashups because they're various things I've always wanted to do with del.icio.us but, up until now, just haven't had the time and/or opportunity to do.

This book will be a part of a series of other mashup books all by new authors; all of whom seem like incredibly cool guys:

• Beginning Flickr Mashups by David M. Wilkinson


• Beginning Google Maps Mashups by Virender Ajmani

Anyway, its still in the process of being made and obviously won't be out for some time. As a newbie computer book author, all I have to say so far is goddamn this is a lot of hard work!

Oh yea, and I was able to sucker revgeorge aka 90% Crud into being my technical editor. So, even though my name will be on the cover, keep in mind him and Sara Shlaer (the development editor) are the ones actually making me look smart. ;)
