While I myself am not going to partake on this most holy of days, I'm sure many of you are making this national high five day extra high.

Yes, that's right, it's 4/20! Although those of you that know have probably already forgotten.

So, if you're one of these people, then let me share with you a couple of my favorite traditional recipes in case you are looking for a way to make today extra special for your family and friends.

Have fun!

Melted Cheese on a Plate:

Ingredients:

  • Cheese (any kind will do - sweaty and yellow is best)

Directions:

  1. Spread sliced or shredded cheese onto a microwave-safe plate until the plate is fully covered.

  2. Microwave on high for 2:30 or until cheese is fully melted.

  3. Serve while still warm. Best enjoyed with your fingers while watching the SciFi channel.

Emergen-C and Pretzels

Ingredients:

  • 1 Packet Emergen-C ("Super Orange" is best)

  • 1 Bag of Pretzel Rods

  • Creamy Peant Butter

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Emergen-C as directed with a large glass of water.

  2. Try a few pretzels. You will notice they taste especially dry. Dip them in the Emergen-C. "Meh, I guess that tastes OK." A little later, the bag will be finished!

  3. Dude, you TOTALLY forgot about the peanut butter!

Delivered Thai Food

Ingredients:

  • Probably about $20.00

Directions:

  1. Plan ahead - KNOW what you're going to order and WRITE IT DOWN on a piece of paper to read off when you call.

  2. When the doorbell rings, go answer it, and TRY NOT TO LOOK STONED.

  3. Yep, that's the delivery guy. Take the food. Keep cool.

  4. Ok, now give him the money - DON'T LOOK STONED.

  5. Ok, he's gone.

  6. HAHA! He TOTALLY knew you were stoned!
