mood: exhausted
After a year of playing this game, I think I'm finally done, people.
It was good, but it's time to just fade out and move on to other games. I miss my PS2, man. . . . (And yes, you have to "fade out," sadly, because it is true - there is no endgame.)
If I were to come up with one thing that made World of Warcraft great it would be that you didn't have to be hardcore. You could login and play for just a bit and feel like you got something "done." (Well, as done as anything gets in the videogame world.)
And I didn't play it hardcore. My progress was slow, and I enjoyed it. My guild was small, and they were fun. Perhaps that's why it's so easy to say goodbye.
What about the expansion pack? Meh.
And nope, I never made 60 (but was very close).
See you in the real world!
